Voices in Economics
Tuesday, May 24th
About the event

The economics profession has become more diverse in the last decades. As a consequence, the research agenda of economists has also become more varied, richer, and more relevant. But progress has been slow, in particular at higher positions. Also, not everybody feels welcome and safe in the sometimes hypercompetitive community of economists.
The event "Voices in Economics" considers what has been accomplished and looks ahead. What can we do to create a more inclusive culture and to promote diversity in our profession? On 24 May from 15:00-16:30 in Theil CB-02 we will talk about this with experts from the US, the UK, and the Netherlands.
