Presentation - BoFEB traineeship

Last week, AEclipse's external committee hosted a presentation and Q&A with representatives from the BoFEB (Beroepsopleiding Financieel-Economisch Beleidsmedewerker) traineeship. A great opportunity to get to know the program!

On March 10th, AEclipse organized a presentation together with the BoFEB Traineeship! After a presentation by the program director Jan Donders, the students got the opportunity to ask questions about the program. The presentation ended with a quiz on economic knowledge where the winner received a gift card for a book.

The BoFEB traineeship prepares young general economists for policy positions in ministries and other government agencies involved in financial and economic policy. The traineeship lasts one year and starts in March and September each year. The traineeship consists of two parts of six months each. The first part focuses on deepening the understanding of the theory of financial-economic policy, in addition to teaching various skills that are important for policy officials. During the second part, the trainees work at a ministry or other government agency, such as the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets or De Nederlandsche Bank.
