AElementair Editorial Comittee

The editorial committee is responsible for our very own scientific magazine, covering interesting themes in Economics. It is distributed nation-wide, to Economics students of five universities and academic staff of the matching departments. What makes it so special for Aeclipse is that the AElementair publishes articles from Professors and PhD students not only from the Erasmus University, but also gathers contributions from Groningen, Nijmegen, Tilburg and Utrecht and sometimes from other scientists as well. These articles cover academic work of their authors, and each edition treats another perspective; international, macro-, meso- or micro- Economics. An editor-in-chief, board member of AEclipse, and several editors from the participating universities make sure that four editions per year are being made. Language of the magazine is mainly Dutch, but we try to include more and more English articles as well.

The editor-in-chief decides on the theme’s and the deadlines. He also edits the articles and decides which make it to the AElementair. He’s the one keeping in touch with the acquisition, the printer, other editors, the final editor and with some writers. The editors of the other study associations search for writers on their university and edit those articles. The final editor edits all the articles one last time.

Editors of the AElementair are in charge of finding writers for columns and for for the design of the AElementair.

The study associations we currently cooperate with are:

Asset Economics (Tilburg)
ECU'92 (Utrecht)
ESV Nijmegen
