AEclipse
AEclipse is the study association for Economics. This department covers research in for example Micro-, Macro-, International and Labour Economics. Originating from the first sub association of the EFR, AEclipse covers courses from this broad spectrum for quite some years already. We are confident that all students, whether Dutch or international, will be able to find themselves in our activities and publications. It might even take you beyond your own specialism by giving you a glimpse of what else is there.
Short history
Ten years after the founding of the EFR in 1964 a group of economists set up the first sub association for Economics. Until the academic year 1995/1996 there were several (partly) economically oriented associations at our university. Merging seven of these formed our AEclipse, as it exists today, on the 23rd of August 1996. The association blossomed and can safely be regarded as the study association for Economics students at the Erasmus University nowadays.
